• on 14th April 2016 – we invite you to visit the latest biomass investment in CHP Siekierki belonging to PGNiG Termika – the Strategic Partner of the Forum.
Among plenary session are, among other, lectures as follows:
• The current legislative trends for the waste for energy sector in Europe presented and analyzed by dr Ella Stengler from CEWEP
• The national regulations for the sector, biomass and waste will be presented by representatives of the Law Firm Domański Zakrzewski Palinka – Daniel Chojnacki
• Representative of PGE GiEK CHP Rzeszow will discuss their latest development, construction of the thermal treatment installation with energy recovery. The contract is worth almost 285 million PLN. The contract was signed in the beginning of January 2016 and envisages the construction of a technological line with an annual capacity of 100 thousand tonnes of waste. About the first in the history of the company PGNiG Termika 100% green energy unit – Andrzej Rubczyński, PGNiG Termika
• Dr Krystyna Kubica, Expert in air protection, Polish Chamber of Ecology will outline the future of market for medium / low heating power equipment and biomass boilers in the context of the requirements of the Directive to reduce emissions from medium-sized combustion plants – MCP and the Ecodesign Directive
• About innovative on a European scale pyrolysis plant sludge in the Waste Utilization Plant in Elblag will tell Marian Wojtkowski, ZUO Elbląg and Dariusz Kamiński, Metal Expert
• Bożena Przewoźna, Director of the Department of Public Utilities and Housing in Poznań City Hall will speak about Waste incineration plant in Poznań, which is the first project in Poland (and one of the first in Europe) realized in the framework of public-private partnerships, which received funding from the EU funds
• Agenda of our Forum must have included the experience from Konin waste incineration plant, already put into operation, about which will tell Andrzej Drewniak, Supervisor of the Project’s Implementation at the Municipal Waste Management Department in Konin
